US, ‘Israel’ launch full-scale attack against Iran

The United States has said its latest strikes on Iran are aimed at dismantling the country’s security apparatus, according to a statement given to Al Jazeera. Officials described the operation as a strategic effort to weaken Iran’s military and internal security infrastructure.
American officials indicated the attacks are expected to be broader and last longer than the strikes carried out in June 2025, suggesting a deeper and more sustained military campaign.
In Tehran, Iran’s Mehr news agency reported disruptions to mobile phone services in parts of the city, raising concerns about communications outages as the situation unfolds.
Iranian authorities also confirmed that the country’s airspace has been closed until further notice, a move often taken during major military escalations.
The strikes represent a major coordinated military operation by the United States and Israel, aimed at weakening Iran’s defense systems amid growing tensions across the Middle East.
