Two More U.S. Servicemembers Killed in Iran Operations, Death Toll Rises to Six

United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed the deaths of two additional American servicemembers during ongoing military operations related to Iran, raising the total number of U.S. fatalities to six.
In an official statement, CENTCOM said the two servicemembers had previously been listed as missing following recent attacks on U.S. positions in the region. Recovery teams later located and identified their remains. Officials expressed condolences to the families of the fallen and stated that further details would be released once next of kin notifications were complete.
The deaths occurred as part of “Operation Epic Fury,” a U.S. military campaign aimed at targeting strategic sites linked to Iranian military infrastructure and affiliated forces. The operation has involved air and ground components and remains active.
Earlier in the conflict, three U.S. servicemembers were killed in initial strikes, while several others were seriously wounded. A fourth servicemember later died from injuries sustained in those attacks, bringing the previous total to four before the latest announcement.
Military officials emphasized that combat conditions remain dangerous and fluid. They warned that risks to U.S. personnel continue as operations move forward and as forces respond to ongoing threats in the area.
Pentagon officials have not disclosed specific operational details surrounding the latest incident, citing security and the sensitive nature of ongoing missions. However, they reiterated that the United States remains committed to its strategic objectives in the region.
The rising death toll underscores the intensifying nature of the conflict, drawing increased attention from international leaders and raising concerns about broader regional stability as military actions continue.
