Orylan is known today as one of the most heavily tattooed women in the UK — but what’s even more shocking than her current look is how dramatically different she once appeared.
First tattoo at 14, unrecognizable at 26
With over 143,000 Instagram followers, Orylan has built a massive online presence by embracing an unapologetically bold and unconventional look. Her transformation journey began at age 14 with her first tattoo — and at just 26, she’s covered nearly her entire body in ink.
But the tattoos are just the beginning.
She’s also undergone a number of extreme body modifications: tattooing the whites of her eyes, splitting her tongue like a snake, and even getting an implant in her hand.
Facing judgment with confidence
While her dramatic transformation fascinates many, it’s also brought plenty of criticism. Still, Orylan says she has no regrets.
“Most people say I should never have changed myself,” she said in an interview. “But beauty is subjective. I feel more myself in the skin I’m in today.”
She added that although she doesn’t have a fixed goal for her appearance, she might get more face tattoos — and even tattoo her tongue in the future.
Split tongue, double the taste?
Orylan’s split tongue has drawn particular attention — and she claims it’s not just for looks. According to her, the unique mod allows her to taste two different foods at once. In one test, she sipped Coke and Sprite simultaneously and said the combination was “confusing” but fascinating.
The procedure itself cost around $700 and involved numbing, slicing the tongue down the middle, and stitching both halves separately.
Unrecognizable before her transformation
Despite the online hate, Orylan continues to post confidently on social media, embracing her identity and encouraging others to follow their own paths.
“Some people stare, others insult me. They say I look like a demon or that I was prettier before,” she shared. “But the harshest critics hide behind screens.”
Her viral before-and-after photos often leave viewers speechless — most can’t believe it’s the same person.
Her message to others?
“If you want to modify your body, do it out of love and for your own happiness — not anyone else’s approval.”
