IRAN LAUNCHES ATTACKS ON NEARBY STATES AND U.S. BASES

Iran has reportedly carried out a series of missile and drone attacks targeting neighboring countries and U.S. military bases in the region. According to local and international reports, the strikes focused on strategic sites used by American forces and allied regional partners.

Saudi Arabia confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted multiple ballistic missiles and drones aimed at Prince Sultan Air Base and intelligence assessments suggest that Iran also targeted facilities in Iraq and United Arab Emirates, although local authorities have not confirmed significant damage.

U.S. officials have stated that American forces were not harmed, but the strikes underscore Tehran’s ability to threaten military assets across the region. According to sources familiar with intelligence reports, some of the targeting information may have been provided by Russia.

The attacks are seen as retaliation for recent U.S. and Israeli military operations against Iranian positions in the Middle East. Experts warn that the escalation could further destabilize the region and complicate ongoing diplomatic efforts.

Analysts also point to Iran’s growing missile and drone capabilities, which allow Tehran to strike high-value targets with precision while minimizing risk to its own territory. This demonstrates a level of military sophistication that many international observers previously underestimated.

Authorities in the affected countries continue to monitor the situation closely, and the international community has called for restraint as tensions in the region remain extremely high.
