The Smash Ball (スマッシュボール, sumasshu bōru) (formerly called a Smash Emblem or Smash Orb by fans) is a special item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate It appears to allow the user to activate an especially powerful Final Smash attack. The Smash Ball appears as a multicolored sphere resembling the Super Smash Bros. logo. In 3DS/Wii U, Smash Balls will pulsate and leave multicolored trails in their wake when roaming around the stag
