This natural tanned leather journal cover by Old Church Works holds one Extra Large Moleskine 7.5" x 10" Cahier notebook or 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" Composition Notebooks (not included). The leather is thick 8-9 oz. The exterior binding is 2mm black elastic cord. The interior binding and bookmarks are 1.5mm black elastic cord. The fold in intentionally wide and bulky. There's something warm and easy to handle about a bulging set of notebooks and cover - maybe it's the material, maybe it's what's written inside. Heck cram some biz cards, and other scraps of ephemera inside. We approve. After dragging this guy around for a few weeks, you'll start to see some nice, gentle darkening and character giving marring and scratches. Nicely packaged and all handmade in Kansas, USA by Old Church Works.
