Just hours before Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at Utah Valley University, his wife, Erika, shared a haunting verse—Psalm 46:1—on X, which reads: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
The 31-year-old conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder leaves behind Erika and their two young children, a daughter and a son.
The couple had recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. Kirk was shot in the neck during a student Q&A session and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities believe the fatal shot was fired from a nearby building.
