DNA evidence emerges as FBI confirms black glove found near Tucson home may match suspect

Federal investigators have announced a significant development in the disappearance case of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie in Tucson, Arizona. According to the FBI, a black glove found about two miles from her home contains a DNA profile that appears to match the gloves worn by a masked individual captured on security cameras the night she vanished.

The glove was discovered in a field near a roadway and sent for laboratory testing. Preliminary results suggest a possible connection to the suspect. Authorities collected several gloves during the search effort, but this one is considered key evidence because it visually matches those seen in surveillance footage.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on January 31 at her home. Blood traces confirmed to be hers were found on the porch. Investigators believe a masked and armed individual was involved in her disappearance. Final DNA analysis and comparison with national databases are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, search efforts continue, and authorities are urging the public to provide any information or video footage that could help identify the suspect. No arrests have been made at this time.
